On this darkest day of the Christian calendar, I think about the disciples’ misery, their fear, and the hopelessness they must have felt.<\/p>\n

They had no idea what the next day would bring, and how much better and brighter it would be.<\/p>\n

I think there’s a lesson in that for all of us when we mourn, when we are afraid, and when we lose hope.<\/p>\n
