Good news for some of my literary friends!<\/p>\n

First, hearty congratulations to Chuck Gannon<\/a>, whose novel Fire With Fire<\/em> just won the Compton Crook Award! As some of you know, I take an inordinate amount of pleasure at seeing that particular novel get the recognition I think it deserves.<\/p>\n

Second, the Hugo Award nominations<\/a> were announced, and several of my friends are on the ballot!<\/p>\n
